I recently started to dip my toes in the world of cardmaking. I have to say its quite intimidating to view the spectactular creations scrapbookers and paper crafters across the web have made. I decided that I was going to start out slowly and just try to make a simple thank you card using just 1-2 sheets of paper, my Cricket and or punch, and a little ribbon. I have to give thanks to Robyn, over at The Pink Stamper, for her great cardmaking 101 video. The three cards are quite simple, but I really like the clean look of each. I'm exicted to see where my immaginiation will take me as I get better at this.

Well here it is my first blog post ever. I'm a little nervous to share my creations with others, but here we go... Although I have been scapbooking for several years, I recently purchased a Cricket in August and it's all I can do not to make something new every couple of weeks. For September's Junior League meeting, I had to make a sign to indicate where a group of women I work with would be sitting. I used the Everyday PaperDolls cartridge to create a variety of dolls to reflect the diversity of women that we have in our league. I hope you enjoy them.
